Our driving design philosophy is the beauty of seamless functionality: combining user-centric design, simplicity and the distinct Stala brand into products known for our signature precision.
Precision is much more than just technical quality. It’s the act of fulfilling real needs accurately and responsibly; creating quality experiences with functional design.
Our design responsibility is to create sustainable, useful, safe and functional products that truly become part of our lives. This is why we exist.
We believe in beautiful, clean functionality in the tradition of Scandinavian design. We believe in comfort, a practical use of space and avoiding clutter in our creations.
We try to be ourselves, not anyone else. We promise consistency and quality. We value authenticity in aesthetics and values behind our products.
For us precision is much more than just technical quality. It’s the act of fulfilling real needs accurately and responsibly, creating quality user experiences with functional design. We pay attention to the smallest details – we believe it helps us make our products more functional, more useful and more sustainable. Through technology development we strive to create innovative modern solutions for our products. Scandinavian precision is our passion and promise.
Safety is a serious matter at Stala. We take great care that our products are safe throughout their lifecycle.
Efficiency in the production and use of materials are key contributors to every design from Stala. We are constantly evolving our practices to use less resources in every stage of the product lifecycle. Stala’s speciality, stainless steel, is a durable material, which can be infinitely recycled at end of life.
The best form of sustainability is to abstain from what is not needed. Knowing our users is essential to understanding what is valuable and what isn’t. Value from Stala comes from considered, long-lasting, functional solutions.
Our design DNA guides the whole company. User centricity and design thinking are the two strands of our DNA’s double helix.
Our design language is in essence constructing a solution from the simplest possible shapes and removing everything superfluous.
The foundation for this is based on the following three design principles:
Our products are not only physically robust, but also visually long lasting. From patterns that prevent the visibility of scratches, to shapes and materials that can take the knocks of everyday life with grace.
Stainless steel is a bold and intriguing material, and our design language confidently uses it with confident and strong, straight lines.
Our clean and sharp look is in the tradition of Scandinavian minimalism, which promotes simple comfort and removes needless clutter.
Our history is constant evolution to meet your changing needs and designing products that last.
