Stala has been honored with the Creative Communication Award 2023 for its exceptional use of innovative technologies and online experiences during the launch of StalaTex. The prestigious recognition was awarded in two categories, including Online Experiences, Online Media, and Advertising - Innovative Technologies (VR and others).
The Creative Communication Award celebrates the most outstanding campaigns, creative solutions, and ideas in communication design, advertising, and digital media. This year, Stala stood out among the ground, and the C2A winners were chosen by a distinguished international jury, highlighting their exceptional talent.
This marks the second time in 2023 that StalaTex has received recognition. The first was the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2023, a coveted seal of quality for products that exhibit outstanding high-quality design.
In 2022, Stala launched two patterned stainless steel collections – Trace by Gert Wingårdh and Grid by Matti Klenell. The launch was marked by a groundbreaking innovation: the creation of a completely new virtual reality experience, StalaVerse, which was finally integrated with reality. This innovation has now earned Stala recognition with the Creative Communication Award. The international jury also acknowledged the online experiences provided by the StalaTex launch.
This award-winning launch was the result of collaboration with multiple partners. Virtual Reality was developed in partnership with the Finnish high-tech company Movya Oy. The creative concept was crafted alongside the Swedish architect firm Wingårdhs, and the creative consultancy was provided by Matti Klenell, a renowned Swedish designer.
In 2023, submissions were reviewed in 18 competition categories and 90 subcategories by a panel of 43 jurors. The jury was composed of creative industry professionals from art and creative directors, curators, publishers, and other influential figures in the field.
Pasi Härkönen, Managing Director of Stala, expressed his pride in the company's achievement.
